"Children must be taught HOW TO THINK, not what to think"
Weekplan:
Students in my class receive on monday morning an individual week-plan. This schedule contains class-work, homework and extra assignments. If a student is struggling in my class I create an individual plan with less work. If a students is working quickly and understands the subjects well he/she will receive more challenging work on this week-plan. Homework tasks will be checked on the back of this weekplan daily. The weekplan enforces independent work during class-time and group work during projects. (The new week-plan will be uploaded on Friday 16.00 PM). |

Class Dojo:
ClassDojo is a classroom tool that helps me improve behavior in my classrooms quickly and easily. It captures and generates data on behavior that I can share with the parents and administrators. Class dojo focus is on reinforcing positive behavior and engaging students in minutes. As a parent you can sign up and follow your son/daughter's progress. I print a Dojo report every term (4 reports per AY). For more information check out the Class Dojo website. www.classdojo.com |

Student Wide Learner Goals (K1 - K12)
- What should all students know and be able to do upon exit from the school?
- What does it mean to be an educated person?
- What is the most effective preparation of students for their future?
The SWLG's address the identified critical academic needs of the students, Define what students should know and be able to do in each curricular area, the level at which students are expected to demonstrate this knowledge, and grade-level expectation for performance.
Critical Thinking (Using the Bono Thinking Hats)
Six Thinking Hats is a time-tested, proven, and practical thinking tool. It provides a framework to help people think clearly and thoroughly by directing their thinking attention in one direction at a time--white hat facts, green hat creativity, yellow hat benefits, black cautions, red hat feelings, and blue hat process.
